saddest i've seen has to be Ceres Celestial Legend/maiden... beautiful story line, although it was rather depressing, as none of the characters were happy. And the suicide and the whole concept of just unhappiness...but at least the ending was happy-ish. Meh, it was just an all around sad anime. >> the soundtrack, however, is truly amazing.

And Elfen Lied... maybe i just don't like violence all that much. But yeah.... i loved it.

never seen it is it good?
yeah Elfen Lied was awsome!!

Um...well yeah i think you'd like it if you like Elfen Lied. It's actually kind of similar, but then not really. The main character can get annoying, but that didn't put me off watching it. It's by Yuu Watase, so if you've seen the fushigi yuugi series then i'd say you'd like it ??? Very Happy

it kind of focuses on the destruction of human life - specifically males in a particular family. but if you stand back and look at it, it refers to human kind in general. It's a love story, but then it has all this drama, death, tragedy and stuff thrown in. And actually there is only one character in the whole series that gives it a lighter, happier note.

I think its a good series.

yup yup, but for wolf's Rain it had been years since I had finished it, I started to watch it on adult swim and actually just skipped to the last ep like 3 weeks ago.

u know IDK whether to be really happy or sad, at the end of Eureka 7 did they die or what??

The ending of Berserk is pretty sad....actually more fucked up then sad.
Other then the ending, its a pretty awesome series

PS: Elfen Lied is the greatest anime ever, and I have never found anything very similar to it.

Negima, when Asuna died and how Negi and Class 2-A took the news. Negi by far took it the hardest out of everyone.
